The Parliament's People Awards promotes and recognises the valuable role played by all individuals working for Parliamentarians or employed in the Palace of Westminster.
All MPs and Peers, staff from parliamentary and constituency offices, and those employed by the House of Commons, House of Lords or the Parliamentary Digital Service can nominate a colleague.
"At a time when politics is dominated by big personalities, it's easy to overlook the important work of Parliamentary staff and staffers, both in Westminster and the constituencies. MPs and Peers rely on their staff to keep them fully briefed and up to date. Our entire Parliament fails to function without the teams in the libraries, vote office and many other of the unseen, yet essential, services offered within the Palace of Westminster. These awards will recognise the valuable work of the people and teams behind the scenes that make Parliament work and provide a platform to celebrate their achievements."
Daniel Bond, Managing Editor, The House magazine
Nominations open on the 01 September 2020 and close on the 30 October 2020, and the winners will be announced in January 2021.
